A public exhibition tracing the history of the Tezpur Mahila Samiti from the 1920s to the 2000s. Curated from the Mahila Samiti archives, the exhibition highlights a feminist regional history that has been neglected in the mainstream discourses of the region. The project seeks to weave an alternate understanding of the past by highlighting the role of the women of Tezpur against the socio-political timeline of Assam.
