Mayalou is a film by Pratishtha Chettri︎︎︎ that revolves around two elderly sisters who reunite after years apart. Despite being complete opposites, the shared elements of old age and isolation serve as a binding factor, fostering a certain level of understanding between them.

The camera follows the two women as they navigate the spaces of the house, documenting their everyday routines, extended moments of silence, vulnerabilities, connections with their surroundings, and instances of idleness.

A complete motion and visual identity package was developed for the project, beginning with a 10-second animated intro/title sequence through which the tone and visual language were established. This was followed by a series of six-second chapter openers, in which text or quotes were integrated with dynamic animation to create smooth narrative transitions.
